RIVERWORKS aims to restore the dynamic river and estuary as the backbone of a new urban and natural landscape. It involves design, planning, and a long-term commitment to a strategic, collaborative, ambitious, and incremental process for reshaping the watershed.

Our team aims to restore the river's natural flows and tidal cycles, benefiting habitats and landscapes. Through science-based methods, we will enhance the watershed's productivity and biodiversity. Additionally, we will explore ways to reintegrate people into these landscapes.

During April-September monsoons, we aim to celebrate lush waterways by protecting and restoring ChiShi River's hydrological cycles, allowing branches and tributaries to infiltrate urban areas, providing flood-buffering and ecological integration.

四至九月的雨季应该是庆祝水路葱郁的时节。我们建议保护和恢复河流系统的良性水文循环，并让赤石河支流渗透到邻近的城市地区，以缓解洪水带来的影响，使之融入城市生态系统。

Envisioning a patchwork of thoughtfully planned urban developments, we balance agriculture, parklands, communities, institutions, commerce, eco-industry, and recreation, respecting the waterway's topography. The process begins with investing in existing settlements, cultural heritage, ancient practices, and the surrounding natural landscape, rather than heavy machinery.
