VALECHE Studio is a Hong Kong-based landscape design and research consultancy founded in 2013. We believe in an urban future that will be shaped by new expressions ecology and community in the city. Our work explores the capacity for landscape to sustain healthy and high-density living. Building on our experience as practitioners, educators, and scholars, we take an approach to design and planning that is both rigorous in its scientific and professional application, but sensitive to nuanced readings of place and meaning. We make things that endure and evolve; we design places that respect the people in them; we shape environments that are immersive, vibrant, and stimulating; we draw connections between nature and the city in rich and unexpected ways.
VALECHE Studio offers a range of services and is experienced in commercial and residential design, public-realm improvements, and large and small-scale public parks. Our research and design work has been exhibited internationally and the founding partners have lectured regionally on our body of work and its underlying research interests.
