MONU (Magazine on Urbanism) is published biannually, targeting fields of architecture, urbanism, and urban theory. MONU focuses broadly on the city, with issues themed by the editor, Bernd Upmeyer, on topics related to the city and its politics, economy, geography, ecology, social aspects, and structure. Each issue of MONU has a print edition of 3000 copies and an online readership of 60,000. Distribution of the magazine is predominantly in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
